I have backed up my blog. This was a good skill to know, for I was wondering how to do that. I plan on going and backing up my Storybook on Google sites so that I do not lose all my work if something were to happen! As I was exploring the past week's announcements I was surprised to see how many people have already finished the course by looking at the progress meeter! I also love reading the news tweets. I have not been up to date on Twitter lately, but I would like to use it more. This week is Homecoming week (Oct. 23-28) and there are tons of activities this week for OU students. I love animal tales and fairy tales! My Story book is about Italian fairy tales, so I thought it would be good to have other regional fairy tales to compare them to. These will also give me examples of how to write my own. These stories come from "Persian Tales" which was translated by D.L.R. Lorimer and E.O. Lorimer. The Wolf and the Goat was a fun ready! Especially because it is a parallel to a Brothers Grimm story. Most of Brothers Grimm's stories come from the Pentamerone, a collection of Italian fairy tales.
